"unitedcypher presents" is our show of other shows like Anime Alphabet and Fallout Forecast as well as older improv radio where nearly anything can happen, though it's mostly a compilation of our collective life experiences mixed with a bucket of lies and half-cocked accents.   

Anime Alphabet Series Wrap-up

The end of this series a good place to start.  Join Evan and DeHart as they reflect back on the completion of this 6 month project with special guest Cheats.  They relive some of the ups and downs of titles covered during the run of the show and serves as a good preview before going back and starting from the beginning.

This week we kick off the new year by roasting through a couple of John Woo action "classics" from the 1990's. We go over the 1993 hit starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, Hard Target as well as John Woo's follow up from 1995, Face/Off.

MPM: Ep. 262 - Ah Ah Meetings

Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! We haven't done a themed month in a while, so Dehart had the grand idea to do a trilogy theme for March. Cheats kicks things off with by picking the Cornetto Trilogy which consists of three movies starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, and directed by Edgar Wright. This week we go through Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, & The World's End. In this episode, we talk about our most feard "apoc-u-lips" monsters, we talk about the progression of Simon Pegg's characters, and talk about how much of a twat David is. Enjoy!

To celebrate President's Day from Monday, we finally get around to roasting through Air Force One as well as a movie that constantly gets confused with Olympus Has Fallen, in White House Down. We get straight political in this episode, and talk about what shitty celebrities would make a better President than Donald Trump, we go into the science behind the Harrison Ford lunge, and we're all torn with each other about White House Down. Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! Phil picks a couple of Sci-fi movies this week, and we accidentally end up doing a Bruce Campbell episode. We roast through a couple of his lesser-known movies, Moontrap and Mindwarp. In this episode, we talk about our favorite Sci-fi movie monsters, we question the logic of aliens, and wonder what else Chekhov has done besides Chekhov. Enjoy!

Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! Dehart picks a couple of Rutger Hauer movies this week, and we go on a quest to tell whether or not he's a good actor, or whether Blade Runner is an anomaly. This week we roast through Wedlock as well as a movie that Mark had originally requested for December, and we thought we'd escaped, Split Second. In this episode, we create our own monster combinations, we talk about how the exploding head collar is an under-utilized idea, and we finally make our decisions on Rutger Hauer. Enjoy!
