Listening Guide

This section will feature the cream-of-the-crop, the best of the best when it comes to unitedcypher productions.  New to the site?  This is the perfect way to get an introduction to what we do!

"unitedcypher presents" is our show of other shows like Anime Alphabet and Fallout Forecast as well as older improv radio where nearly anything can happen, though it's mostly a compilation of our collective life experiences mixed with a bucket of lies and half-cocked accents.

Anime Alphabet Series Wrap-up

The end of this series a good place to start.  Join Evan and DeHart as they reflect back on the completion of this 6 month project with special guest Cheats.  They relive some of the ups and downs of titles covered during the run of the show and serves as a good preview before going back and starting from the beginning.

The Mysteries of the Universe are unveiled!  Join ex-scientist and Poleitsher Prize winning war correspondant Paul Miller as he interviews a war veteran who was allegedly abducted and brain-raped by aliens, the publisher and co-author of a book on the aforementioned brain-rape, and a skeptic who thinks that both of them are denying the truth.... About Spacesquatch!

"Motion Picture Meltdown" is a movie review podcast without the sponsors or the prestigious hollywood trappings.  It is produced by Stephen and hosted by Stephen, Philip, Cheats, and DeHart along with the occasional guests.  It's a fast paced show that's hilarious from start to finish.

Ep 139 - The Safe Word Is Banana Pudding!

Welcome back to Not-So Superhero September for Motion Picture Meltdown! We continue our theme with a couple of crappy super-hero movies from the 90's. Phil, DeHart, and Stephen get together with Joel Mengel from The Pod People Podcast once again to roast through Sam Raimi's Darkman as well as Blankman.

Ep 206 - I Murdered Your Father, Wearing Your Father.

This week we kick off the new year by roasting through a couple of John Woo action "classics" from the 1990's. We go over the 1993 hit starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, Hard Target as well as John Woo's follow up from 1995, Face/Off.

MPM: Ep. 312 - Keeping Up With The Jawses

Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! In celebration of monsters and beach season, Dehart picks a couple of ocean-themed creature features that he refers to as Jawsploitation flicks. This week, we roast through Tentacles and Ocra: The Killer Whale. In this episode, you'll hear us poorly construct out sea-creature themed movies, a million ocean puns, and argue about how menacing a harpsichord sounds. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 282 - The Land Down Under!

Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! Dehart picks a couple of Australian movies for us to watch this week, one based on the The Most Dangerous Game, called Turkey Shoot as well as a lesser-known 80's creature feature, Razorback. In this episode, we create our own Australian deadly Cryptic animals, Phil does really terrible Aussie accents, and we definitely don't promote downloading things illegally. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 272 - Godzilla: A Love Story

Hey everyone! We're on week 3 of Motion Picture Meltdown's Monster Month of May! In this episode, Phil picks the movies and decided we should roast a bunch of fire-breathing lizards. We go through the 1998 blockbuster Godzilla as well as the lesser-known creature feature from 2002, Reign Of Fire. This week, you'll us describe scores that ruin movies for us, Phil bitches about size consistency in movies again, and we think there should be an Oscar for gaining/losing weight for movies. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 247 - Beak To Beek Action

Hey everyone! Welcome to another great episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! We're finally finished with October and we thought we were getting away from the shittiest of movies. Boy were we wrong! Phil purposely picked a couple turds from the late 2000's SYFY Maneater Series to ruin our weekend. First, we roast through possibly one of the worst movies ever in Grizzly Rage, and then dive into (see what I did there?) the far superior (we may have differing opinions on that), Eye Of The Beast. We've been planning to podcast these movies from the very beginning of MPM, but now we're all truly glad it's over with. In this episode, you'll hear us discuss the probability of embezzlement for these movies, we decide who wins, bear vs. squid, and we see some of the worst super-imposed graphics ever. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 226 - Snack Williams

Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! We continue The Monster Month of May by doing a couple of "aquatic" monster movies for my picks. We journey back into the 80's and go through one of the more popular 80's creature features, Alligator, as well as the popular, yet very crappy CG filled buttfest from 1998, Deep Rising. In this episode. you'll hear us all pick our most feared monster environments, you'll hear our anger with the logic of opening doors with a shotgun, and Phil thinks the cop from Alligator is the worst human ever. Enjoy!
